Congratulations to the following students for being awarded the first ever Carleton Academic Student Government Scholarship:
The University Senate has put forth a call for nominations for Students Senators.
Elected Senators will serve a 1 year term, starting June 1, 2012.
If you are interested in serving on Senate, please email your nomination to Andrew Kwai (vpacademic@casg.ca) and CC Alexander Golovko (president@casg.ca).
The requirements to sit as a Student Senator are that you have served a minimum one (1) year term on CASG, and are an undergraduate intending on returning as an undergraduate student on September 1 in the Faculty you are running for.
Uncontested positions will be acclaimed, while contested positions will be determined by electronic ballot sent out by the Secretary of Senate.
The number of positions available by Faculty are:
Arts and Social Sciences -3
Business -1
Engineering and Design-2
Public Affairs-3
Science-1

Carleton University’s Board of Governors Undergraduate and Graduate Student Election
The election to identify ONE undergraduate and ONE graduate nominee to the Board of Governors will be conducted by an online election on Monday, March 12th, Tuesday, March 13th and Wednesday, March 14th. Students currently registered in the winter term can vote through a link listed in their Carleton Central Account under Student Support Services.
ONLINE VOTING WILL BEGIN MONDAY AND WILL END AT 11PM ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14TH.
Students can also visit one of our online polling stations located at Residence Commons or the University Center – Tory junction. Polling stations will be open from 11am to 7pm Monday to Wednesday.
