If you’re interested in serving an important role in the governance of Carleton University, consider running for a student seat on the Board of Governors.

The process has begun to identify one undergraduate and one graduate student interested in being nominated to serve on the Board of Governors for a one year term beginning July 1st, 2012.  The nominees will be identified by an online election to be conducted March 12th, 13th and 14th.  If you’re interested in running in the election or if you know someone who is, please visit the following website for additional information:  http://www2.carleton.ca/boardofgovernors/electionsnominations/student-representatives/.   At that website, you will see eligibility criteria, nomination forms and other relevant information.  To take part in the election, nomination papers must be filed with the Deputy University Secretary not later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17th, 2012.  Please contact Anne Bauer, Deputy University Secretary at anne_bauer@carleton.ca if additional information is required.
