			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>The University Senate has put forth a call for nominations for Students Senators. </strong></p>
<p>Elected Senators will serve a 1 year term, starting June 1, 2012.</p>
<p>If you are interested in serving on Senate, please email your nomination to Andrew Kwai (vpacademic@casg.ca) and CC Alexander Golovko (president@casg.ca).</p>
<p>The requirements to sit as a Student Senator are that you have served a minimum one (1) year term on CASG, and are an undergraduate intending on returning as an undergraduate student on September 1 in the Faculty you are running for.</p>
<p>Uncontested positions will be acclaimed, while contested positions will be determined by electronic ballot sent out by the Secretary of Senate.</p>
<p>The number of positions available by Faculty are:</p>
<p>Arts and Social Sciences -3<br />
Business -1<br />
Engineering and Design-2<br />
Public Affairs-3<br />
Science-1<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Carleton University’s Board of Governors Undergraduate and Graduate Student Election</strong></p>

<p>The election to identify ONE undergraduate and ONE graduate nominee to the Board of Governors will be conducted by an online election on Monday, March 12<sup>th</sup>, Tuesday, March 13<sup>th</sup> and Wednesday, March 14<sup>th</sup>.  Students currently registered in the winter term can vote through a link listed in their Carleton Central Account under Student Support Services.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>ONLINE VOTING WILL BEGIN MONDAY AND WILL END AT 11PM ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14<sup>TH</sup></strong>.</p>
<p>Students can also visit one of our online polling stations located at Residence Commons or the University Center – Tory junction.  Polling stations will be open from 11am to 7pm Monday to Wednesday.</p>

Most of the books are related to politics, economics, history and philosophy. Someone will be there between 10-4 this Wednesday and Thursday (4th &amp; 5th of Jan) to sell the books. The price is $2 per book and $1 for really small ones.</p>
